Hard Drive Update

So, I ran SpinRite on my hard drive and it fixed it enough to boot into Windows and retrieve my data via a DOS prompt. I almost cried when it booted - seriously. I now have a very nice little backup drive on which all my data now resides. Thank goodness for IT friends!! I spent the last two days formatting my new HUGE drive (500 gigs - it was on sale at Fry's) and installing Windows and all of its crappy updates. Now, I need to install all my programs, which should probably take the rest of Spring Break. I can't wait to have my desktop back!
